
The 4th Annual AfroBall Indy — a week-long series of events organised by Indy Black Professionals — culminated on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at the Cinderwood Event Center in Indianapolis.

The main gala ran from 7 pm to midnight and was the highlight of a series celebrating Black excellence and African diaspora unity through fashion, music, food, and community connection. Attendees were encouraged to dress in Afro‑Formal or black tie attire, reflecting the elegance of the evening.

AfroVoyage: An annual curated travel experience linking participants to African culture and heritage.
AfroFest: A family-friendly gathering held on 2 August 2025 at Morris Bicentennial Plaza, featuring African food, music, and local vendors.
AfroConnect: A professional networking and panel discussion event held on 9 October 2025 at The AMP at 16 Tech, focusing on empowering Black and African talent in the workforce.

Live music including DJ sets by DJ Smart, saxophone performances by Eman Zenith, and live drumming by Isaiah Gbeji.

Attendance & Participants
The event was well-attended by Indianapolis’s Black professional and creative community. Panelists at AfroConnectincluded Shemeka Young, Dr. Suzanne Kawamleh, and Korlon L. Kilpatrick II. The gala featured performances by DJs, instrumentalists, and artists, while media coverage and photography were handled by Mister Wright and Jazz Da Shoota.
