Launch Event Spotlights Maison Crivelli’s New Cuir InfraRouge Fragrance

Maison Crivelli has expanded its avant-garde fragrance portfolio with Cuir InfraRouge, a fruity-leather extrait de parfum built around the contrast of fluorescent raspberry and supple leather. Developed by Givaudan perfumer Jordi Fernández, the scent draws from founder Thibaud Crivelli’s recollection of an underground electronic music festival, where neon lights, raspberry cocktails, and a pulsing soundscape shaped the perfume’s sensory world.

The extrait de parfum carries a 32% concentration, is vegan, and sits within the fruity leather family. The composition incorporates several high-quality raw materials bearing Givaudan’s ORPUR distinction. Key ingredients include raspberry, Italian bergamot, Laotian cinnamon, Moroccan iris resin, Virginian and Atlas cedarwood, leather, oud, Madagascan vanilla CO₂, and Venezuelan tonka bean absolute.

Early reviewers on Fragrantica describe the opening as a tangy raspberry burst with a varnished or jam-like edge, shifting into a cinnamon-orris heart and settling into a suede-toned leather drydown softened by vanilla and patchouli. The result is a dense, luminous profile with a sillage that has been widely praised for its power and longevity.

The fragrance debuted through a coordinated series of international events designed to immerse guests in its creative narrative. In Paris, the brand hosted 25 global attendees for a masterclass with Crivelli and Fernández, a dinner experience, and a cocktail workshop where recipes echoed the raspberry-leather contrast. Subsequent showcases followed in Dubai and Johannesburg, where Maison Crivelli engaged regional partners and creators in intimate gatherings that emphasized the brand’s emphasis on sensorial storytelling. An exclusive VIP event in Istanbul, held at Arkestra, translated the “underground festival” inspiration into a curated audiovisual environment, while celebrations in Milanbrought together industry figures for another chapter in the global rollout. In London, a dedicated pop-up at Harrodsoffered visitors a focused exploration of the extrait.

Expert assessments describe Cuir InfraRouge as a distinctive entry in the fruity-woody-leather space, with Fragrantica noting its “purple glow” effect created by the raspberry-leather interplay. Users across review sites and TikTok have labelled it “incredible” and “heavenly,” while others compare it to a more approachable take on Oud Maracujá. A minority of consumers report sensitivity to the intensity of the leather accord, reflecting the fragrance’s bold orientation.

With retail availability confirmed through platforms such as Skins Cosmetics and select international stockists, Cuir InfraRouge enters the market backed by extensive global visibility. The launch strengthens Maison Crivelli’s position within the niche fragrance sector, demonstrating the brand’s continued commitment to multi-sensory storytelling and high-craft formulation.
